Opened 2011 season with a third-place finish in the Budweiser Imperial Cup at Aiken, S.C., on March 26. Veteran steeplechaser jumped to the top of the National Steeplechase Association rankings in 2009 with victories in two Grade 1 races, the A. P. Smithwick Memorial at Saratoga Race Course and the Marion duPont Colonial Cup at Camden, S.C. Was voted an Eclipse Award as champion steeplechase horse at season’s end.
