At Virignia Gold Cup meet, rode Commodore Bob to victory in a $25,000 Sport of Kings maiden hurdle for owner Nick Arundel and trainer Jack Fisher. Won 2009 Carolina Cup (Gr. 2) with Good Night Shirt and 2009 Metcalf Memorial Stakes at Monmouth Park aboard Tricky Me for the Good Night Shirt connections, owner Sonny Via and trainer Fisher. Married wife, Tara, in summer of 2008. Won first race aboard Palace of Gold at Newcastle in England in 1997. Scored first U.S. win with Water Hunter at Block House, N.C., in 2005.
