Ken and Sarah Ramsey
Bio: Ken and Sarah Ramsey have achieved success both on the flat and over fences. The best flat horse to emerge from their large stable is Kitten's Joy, winner of a 2004 Eclipse Award as outstanding turf male, and they collected another Eclipse Award in 2010 with steeplechase horse Slip Away, winner of the Marion duPont Scott Colonial Cup (Gr. 1) and the Temple Gwathmey. Slip Away also won the Lonesome Glory Champions Award winner with purses totaling $191,500. They also won the 2005 Emirates Airline Dubai World Cup with Roses in May. Ken Ramsey says he gets considerable enjoyment from his small steeplechase stable, which is trained by Tom Voss. The Ramseys reside in Nicholasville, Ky.
