Randleston Farm
Bio: Randleston Farm in Bluemont, Va., started out as a base for a few broodmares for owners James and Melinda Carter, but it became a busy operation with both steeplechase and flat runners. The Northern Virginia property has a new stucco barn and an exerciser with a Tapeta Footings surface. Kicked off 2012 with a win in the $25,000 Camden Plate, a Sport of Kings maiden hurdle, with Duc de Savoie. Spy in the Sky in the 2010 Carolina First Carolina Cup (Gr. 2) after upsetting $102,917 New York Turf Writers Cup (Gr. 1) at Saratoga Race Course at 20.50-1 odds in 2009. Jimmy Day trains for Randleston.
