Had a strong 2011 spring season with 10 victories and closed the season out with a three-year-old championship for The Fields Stable's Wanganui. Had led all trainers by earnings in 2009. Trained Slip Away, winner of the 2010 Eclipse Award. Also maintains strong flat stable that has included graded stakes winners Always First, Dreadnaught, and John’s Call. Father of two with wife, Mimi. Former timber jockey won first race with Aruhapy at My Lady’s Manor, Md., in 1975.
