Middleburg, here we come!

The steeplechase community will get a much-needed morale boost as the abbreviated Spring season will finally get underway in a big way with an 11-race card at Glenwood Park in Virginia on June 13. The blockbuster program, which begins at 12:30 pm and will be live streamed, has drawn more than 200 entries, including also-eligibles. Highlighting the program is the G3 Temple Gwathmey Stakes, which has drawn a G1 field of nominees, among them: Scorpiancer, Zanjabeel, Surprising Soul, Moscato, and Iranistan. In the co-featured Middleburg Hunt Cup, three of timber racing's best will also go at it -- Doc Cebu, Schoodic, and Andi'Amu.
