If you can’t make it to the races in person, you can watch live or through a new recap show, Jump Racing USA. Here’s how it works.
The National Steeplechase Association and its generous sponsors want to make sure that jump racing fans won’t miss a single race this season. Starting with the My Lady’s Manor on Saturday and continuing through the Iroquois on June 26, all 12 meets will be streamed live via the NSA’s website. The stream can also be accessed from the NSA’s Facebook page.
The stream will consist of live video beginning at around five minutes to post, plus the race call itself, and the winner’s circle presentation. Between races, on-screen video will provide information about upcoming post times and recaps of previous winners on the card. The live stream is sponsored by Brown Advisory, the Temple Gwathmey Steeplechase Foundation, Charleston’s Post & Courier, and the Virginia Equine Alliance.
For those who are unable to watch live, the NSA will broadcast a recap show, Jump Racing USA, featuring replays, commentary and interviews, on its web site on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The hour-long show will be hosted by Megan Connolly, with guest hosts Joe Clancy and Tom Law of thisishorseracing.com.
