Today’s allowance hurdle is Saratoga Race Course’s first race with a 12:50 p.m. post time, and the race can be watched on the New York Racing Association’s website.
Here is a guide to watching the races live, researched by National Steeplechase Association General Manager Peter McGivney.
A NYRA Bets account is required to watch live racing, and you can open a free, non-betting account at www.nyrabets.com if your state of residence permits.
Once you create an account, you can click on “Watch Live” on NYRA’s website (www.nyra.com). Also, once you have an account, you can download the NYRA NOW app on your phone or tablet, log in using your NYRA Bets credentials, and watch live racing.
The races also can be watched on all major advance-deposit wagering platforms, including TVG, TwinSpires.com, or Xpressbet.com.
An alternative is to watch the race replay on NYRA’s website (www.nyra.com). Hover your mouse pointer over “Racing” at the top of the page and then go to the left side of the page under Racing. There’s a link for Race Replays. You can pick any NYRA track, date, and race. A replay usually is available about 30 minutes after the race is run.
