Both riders received immediate medical attention on the Callaway Gardens course and were transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional Medical Center near the Pine Mountain, Ga., course.
Doyle subsequently was transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore for surgery on Monday. Norris was expected to be released from the Columbus medical center on Monday.
