The $150,000 New York Turf Writers Cup (Gr. 1), scheduled for Thursday, August 21, has been rescheduled for Monday, Aug. 25. New York Racing Association officials postponed the race because of heavy overnight rains in the Saratoga Springs area. The New York Turf Writers, to be run in memory of Tom Voss, will be Monday’s first race with a 1 p.m. post time.
