The $30,000 Sport of Kings maiden hurdle and the $35,000 Ratings Handicap Hurdle scheduled for Monday, July 13, have been shifted to Tuesday, July 14. If it attracts sufficient entries, the Sport of Kings maiden hurdle will be split into divisions with $30,000 in each division. If a split occurs, the jump races will be the first, third, and fifth races on the July 14 program at the suburban Philadelphia track.
A $25,000 flat race for horses who have finished first, second, or third in a sanctioned hurdle race will be contested on Sunday, July 12, as previously scheduled. If the open flat race attracts sufficient entries, it will be raced in two $25,000 divisions.
Entries for the July 12 and July 14 races close at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 6, at the NSA offices.
