In partnership with its race meets, the National Steeplechase Association continues a strong schedule of video streaming of NSA-sanctioned races through its 2010 spring season. The service will be available Saturday, April 3, for the 59th Stoneybrook Steeplechase at the Carolina Horse Park in Raeford, N.C. The video-streaming schedule kicked off a week earlier with the Carolina Cup Races in Camden, S.C.
“The National Steeplechase Association considers video streaming to be an important service to members, horsemen, and fans, and it is part of our outreach to develop new fans for American steeplechase racing,” said NSA President Guy Torsilieri. “The best experience is to be at the race meet, of course. That’s where you can savor the full flavor of our race meets and watch the exciting steeplechase races in person. But, for those who cannot be at the races, the video-streaming service allows them to watch the races and follow our established stars and the stars of tomorrow.”
The video streaming can be accessed through the National Steeplechase Association’s website, www.nationalsteeplechasing.com. First post for the Stoneybrook races is 1:30 p.m., and the races will be run at approximately 40-minute intervals.
